Matt Reeves’ upcoming The Batman starring Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight has been making a lot of waves recently.
While much about the movie is still unknown, pieces of the puzzle are making their way to the surface with news about potential castings.
This time around, Jonah Hill is said to be in talks to join the movie as one its infamous villains.
A recent report from Deadline shared that the two-time Oscar nominated actor is in talks to join The Batman but no deal has been signed just yet.
According to a separate report from Collider, a source has noted that Jonah could be taking on the role as Edward Nigma aka the Riddler.

Inside scooper Jeff Sneider, stressed that Jonah has not yet signed on to star in the movie but added that the Riddler – one of the many villains in the upcoming movie; would be the first to be cast because of his prominent role in the director’s script.
The Hollywood Reporter’s Borys Kit noted that the discussion between Jonah and Warner Bros. are “at an early and sensitive stage.” According to Borys, both sides are unable to decide which character the actor should take on, with the Riddler and Oswald Cobblepot aka the Penguin, named as possibilities.
Another source said that it’s “unclear if the two sides will be able to find common ground.”

Earlier this week, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Jeffrey Wright was also in talks to take on the role of Commissioner Jim Gordon.
Forbes reported back in February that the upcoming movie would have at least four different villains in it but none of them have been confirmed just yet.
