Many actors have taken on the role of Batman over the years and one of the most iconic Batman actors, Michael Keaton, is in talks to return!
The 68-year-old actor is reportedly in talks to return as the Dark Knight in the upcoming The Flash movie with Ezra Miller!
Sources also said that Michael will return for multiple projects besides the Flashpoint movie if the deal with Warner Bros. is made.
Michael’s Bruce Wayne is envisioned to play a veteran role in the DC Extended Universe similar to Samuel L Jackson's role as Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Fans are excited to see how DC will bring Michael back as Batman in the movie that will explore the DC’s multiverse with Ezra Miller’s character Barry Allen accidentally creating a new timeline after travelling back in time to prevent his mother’s murder.
It’s unknown whether the other actors like Ben Affleck and Jeffrey Dean Morgan will return to play Batman and Thomas Wayne in the upcoming movie but having Michael Keaton’s Batman added to the DCEU might potentially lead the cinematic universe in a new direction!
The last time Michael Keaton played the Caped Crusader was in the 1992’s Batman Returns that was one of the fans' favourite Batman movies made.
Michael Keaton also played Vulture in the Marvel Cinematic Universe when he made an appearance in Spider-Man: Homecoming and is set to reprise the role in Jared Leto’s Morbius movie.
