A long-awaited live-action Spider-Verse movie might finally happen with the three Spider-Man movie actors and it now seems like another Spidey is set to join the crossover!
The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) might finally be introducing their very own Miles Morales after rumours that Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have found an actor to play the role started going around.
The rumour about the younger Spider-Man’s debut in the upcoming Spider-Man 3 movie was reported by MCU Cosmic after getting the news from a reliable source.
The news came after reports shared that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are in talks to join Tom Holland in the third installation of the Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters (SPUMC)’s Spider-Man movie!
Jamie Foxx previously confirmed that he would be reprising his Electro character from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, by accidentally sharing a photo of Spider-Man looking at a thunderclouds that formed Electro’s face.
If all the reports are true and confirmed, we’ll see Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and an actor playing Miles Morales appear alongside the confirmed cast of Tom Holland, Jamie Foxx and Benedict Cumberbatch (yes, Doctor Strange too) in Spider-Man 3!
And it really isn’t far-fetched at all considering how long fans have been asking for a Spider-Verse movie and how Doctor Strange’s sequel movie title is called The Multiverse of Madness.
Plus, fans who have been paying attention would know that Miles Morales already exists in the MCU, with Donald Glover playing Miles’ uncle Aaron Davis in Spider-Man: Homecoming and a deleted scene that even showed him calling his nephew Miles on the phone.
Fans are excited to see what Spider-Man 3 will bring as more and more characters cross over between Sony and Marvel’s shared universe. Filming for the movie has also reportedly begun with reports showing a shooting announcement notice in New York!
