For those who thought that the events of GE14 was worth turning into a movie, it’s happening! It’s called Rise: Ini Kalilah and is executive-produced by Fred Chong. He started working on the script when the election period begun as he was captivated by the stories of different Malaysians fighting for change.
How Malaysians were willing to pay the transportation cost of others so that they can vote. How Malaysians staying overseas entrusted their postal votes to total strangers, who helped bring their votes back.
