Fans have been eagerly waiting to see Robert Pattinson as Batman after he was cast to play the Dark Knight back in May 2019 and the first look is finally here!

Matt Reeves, the director of The Batman just revealed a camera test video of Pattinson in the Batman costume and fans are freaking out!

The “Batsuit” shows director Matt Reeves approach to a Batman that has just begun his career as the crimefighter in Gotham with a do-it-yourself style suit.

Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne is seen with a new Batman logo on the chest and a seemingly different cowl that reveals the chin all the way to the back of the jaw.

Fans are freaking out over the suit and the anticipation of initially skeptical fans is now over the top. But of course, there are a few people that didn’t like it…

Matt Reeves previously described the upcoming Batman movie as “a point of view-driven, noir Batman tale. It's told very squarely on his shoulders, and I hope it's going to be a story that will be thrilling but also emotional.”

"It's more Batman in his detective mode than we've seen in the films. The comics have a history of that. He's supposed to be the world's greatest detective, and that's not necessarily been a part of what the movies have been.”

“I'd love this to be one where when we go on that journey of tracking down the criminals and trying to solve a crime, it's going to allow his character to have an arc so that he can go through a transformation."

The confirmed cast for the movie includes Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, Colin Farrell as Penguin and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.

The Batman is set to premiere in theaters on 25 June, 2021! What are your thoughts on Robert Pattinson as the caped crusader? Let us know!
