Where would the Marvel Cinematic Universe be without our favourite friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man? That’s a question that seems to be on everyone’s minds now.

When Deadline first reported that Marvel Studios’ president, Kevin Feige has pulled out of producing any new Spider-Man for Disney, it seems like everyone took to the Twitterverse to share their thoughts and opinions on the matter.
According to Deadline, Disney and Sony Pictures have been unable to “reach new terms that would have given the former a co-financing stake going forward.”
Sources have noted that a dispute has been taking place at the top of Disney over the past few months that has essentially seen Sony removing Kevin and any future involvement from Marvel Studios in the Spider-Man universe.

Sources have also shared that there are currently two more Spider-Man movies in the works and Sony hopes to have director Jon Watts and Tom Holland back to helm the movie.
To put it simply, this whole disagreement means that we will not be seeing Tom Holland as Spider-Man in any upcoming MCU movies and his last portrayal as our favourite web swinger has been in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Fans are obviously furious at this circumstance. Many have already begun petitions all around with titles like “Keep Spider-Man with Disney and the MCU”, “KEEP SPIDER-MAN IN THE MCU”, “Bring Spider-Man and Co. PERMANENTLY back to Marvel Studios”, “Bringing Spider-Man back into the MCU”, and “Sony sell Spider-Man back to Marvel.”
Ever since the news broke, “#Spider-Man” and topics related to the issue at hand have been taking over the trending topics of the day. Fans are clearly angry with the decision and hoping to be heard over the platform, and TBH, we don’t blame them one bit. They're even coming together to save Spider-Man!
We’re really hoping that Disney and Sony will eventually figure out their issues to get Spider-Man back into the MCU. What are your thoughts on this whole matter? Should Sony give Spider-Man back to Marvel?
