The musical adaptation of the beloved and iconic movie is set to make its way to the stage of Chicago’s James M. Nederlander Theatre next year!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the stage adaptation will feature music by Sir Elton John, with lyrics will be written by Shaina Taub; and a book by Paul Rudnick.
Tony winner, Anna D. Shapiro will be heading the musical that explores the cutthroat fashion world of Manhattan through the relationship between ambitious young writer, Andy and her hard-to-please boos, magazine editor Miranda Priestly.

No official casting has been made just yet, but we’re anxious to see which of our favourite bits of the classic movie would be included and turned into song.
The Devil Wears Prada musical is also rumoured to open in London’s West End in 2021.
