The First Look At Emma Stone’s Punk Rock Cruella De Vil Is Here And Everyone Is Confused

With so many reboots and remakes on its way, Disney has shared the first look of its upcoming remake of Cruella.

This weekend’s D23 expo was filled with many new looks at the upcoming series and movies that have been planned for Disney+. One of the first looks that was revealed was of Emma Stone’s upcoming Cruella, based on Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmatians.

In the original movies, Cruella De Vil is a rich, spoiled old lady that’s determined to on stealing Dalmatian puppies to create the perfect fur coat.

Instead of Cruella’s signature fur coat, the actress is dressed head-to-toe in black leather while sporting the villain’s iconic two-toned black and white hairstyle.

Emma made a video appearance during the expo to reveal that the movie will be set in London’s punk rock era of the 1970s and will be hitting theaters on 28^th May 2021.

The new look of the upcoming origin story however has fans very confused. Some are excited about the new take but many others are against the notion.
