There's a new villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and he's making his debut in the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home! Welcome, Jake Gyllenhaal!
For a while now, rumours have been going around that Jake would be joining the cast as the bubble headed villain, Mysterio.

Leaked photos of Jake on the sequel set - clad in an almost full Mysterio costume, have put those rumours to rest.
The scenes shown in the tweets were taken in Liberec, Czech Republic, is one of Spider-Man: Far From Home's filming destinations.
For those who know Mysterio, aka Quentin Beck, you'll notice that he's missing his iconic fishbowl helmet. But everything from the colour of his suit to the design indicates that Jake is indeed taking on the villain role.
Mysterio certainly has an interesting back story. The villain made his comic book debut in 1964, and we were introduced to the once special effects expert and stuntman for a major Hollywood studio who decided to use his talents for evil. He doesn't possess any magical powers but he's able to fake supernatural abilities using his skill set.
Spider-Man: Far From Home will be swinging into theatres in July 2019! We can't wait!
