We already know a sequel for Spider-Man: Homecoming is coming in 2019. But many fans were left confused after seeing Peter Parker’s death in Avengers: Infinity War.

The plot for the sequel, apparently titled Spider-Man: Field Trip, was revealed on Reddit recently, and here’s what we know so far:

[SPOILER ALERT! IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO TURN BACK NOW!]

The movie will be set after the events of Avengers 4 and it’ll show Peter mourning the death of Tony Stark (NOOOOOOO! WHYYYY!).

Peter will then find himself going after Mysterio, the thief and master of illusion that stole Tony Stark’s creation. Jessica Drew, also Spiderwoman in the comic, will appear in the movie as an MI6 agent and team up with Spidey.

Vulture and Scorpion will also appear in the movie, and Alistair Smythe, a rival of Peter at school, will try to turn his friends against him.

Scorpion and Mysterio are apparently hired by a mysterious employer and they will try to make Vulture tell them Spider-Man’s true identity!

It’s unsure whether Marvel Studios will re-write the plot but the film will build up to Spider-Man fighting the Sinister Six!

The sequel is expected to be released in July next year, and we can’t wait to see how it turns out! Which character do you want to see most in the sequel? Tell us!
