When The Witcher first hit our screens, fans all over were blown away by Henry Cavill’s outstanding performance and of course, many were drooling too.
But it looks like the world of The Witcher is not about to end with just a live-action series.

It was recently announced that a new anime movie that’s set in the world of The Witcher will be making its way to us soon.
The upcoming movie will be called The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf and will have Lauren S. Hissrich – the showrunner from the live-action series; attached to the project.

Not much is known about the upcoming anime movie just yet except that the legendary animation studio, Studio Mir – known for their work on The legend of Korra and Voltron: Legendary Defender; will be animating the highly anticipated movie.
As for the plot of the movie, all we know is that the Nightmare of the Wolf will “take us back to a new threat facing the Continent.”

We can’t wait to see what The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf will bring to the world of The Witcher.
