When Camila Mendes first made her relationship with Charles Melton Instagram official we're betting she didn't expect to get criticised for her happiness. Unfortunately, she did.
After a fan shared a critical post about her relationship, Camila took to Instagram to defend it. In a since-deleted post, the fan shared two side-by-side pictures of Camila, one with her current boyfriend, Charles, and one with her ex, Victor Houston.
The caption read: "Sorry but I have to post it. Cami looked happier with Victor."
That was not a smart move. After seeing the post, Camila decided to leave a comment defending her relationship with Charles - not that she needed to in the first place.
The comment read: "I feel silly responding to this but I also feel the impulse to tell you that you're wrong. I'm happier than I've ever been in my life. It's absurd to me that you call yourself a fan, yet your entire page is dedicated to disrespecting my relationship and my boyfriend, both of which you clearly know nothing about."

She continued, "Charles and I were on our way to shoot a self tape, which he helped me with all day. Literally stopped everything he was doing to help me tape the perfect audition. I was running the lines in my head without even knowing there was a pap taking photos of us."
She compared the pictures saying, "Victor and I were at Comic Con, walking towards a huge line of fans, knowing there were cameras pointed at us. See the difference? I hope you're young, because that seems to be the only justification for this kind of immaturity."

In a tweet to another fan, Camila responded to the criticism her relationship received. She tweeted, "the fake fans just make me appreciate the real fans more. love you guys."
One thing's for sure, don't mess with Camila Mendes.
