Haters gonna hate but Cardi B doesn’t have to take it.
At the recent 61st Annual Grammy Awards, Cardi took home the award for Best Rap Album for Invasion of Privacy. Not only did she win big, Cardi made history by becoming the first solo female rapper to ever win the award.
People however were not happy about the rapper’s win.

After receiving so much hate about her award, Cardi posted a video on her Instagram, defending it. The video has since been deleted and her whole Instagram account has been deactivated.
In the video, Cardi says, “I’ve been taking a lot of s*** today, I’m seeing a lot of bull**** today and I saw a lot of s*** last night and I’m sick of this s***. I worked hard for my m************ album.
A livid Cardi went on to say, “I ******* worked my *** off, locked myself in the studio for three months… didn’t go to sleep in my own bed, sometimes for four days straight [while] pregnant.”
She also added that many people were telling her at the time that “your career is over” because of her pregnancy.

While the rapper’s Instagram has been deactivated to silence the haters, Cardi has been taking to Twitter to thank those who have been supporting her.
Cardi shared a screenshot of Chance the Rapper’s support and tweeted:
“I listen to my album and I cry because I know the h*** I went thru doing the album is always a bittersweet memory. THANK YOU EVERYONE THAT SUPPORTED ME AND LISTEN. Im thankful and grateful and again thank you to all the artist that gave me a feature.”
We’ll keep you updated on when Cardi’s back on Instagram!
