After 10 years of production, Game of Thrones came to an end with its final episode last week.

While many will agree that Jon Snow knows nothing, it seems like Kit Harington knows more than enough to put himself first, especially when it comes to taking care of his personal well being.

After the ending of the globally acclaimed series, the actor has decided to take some time to work on himself and has checked into a wellness centre.

Speaking to E! News, Kit’s rep noted that “Kit has decided to utilize this break in his schedule as an opportunity to spend some time at a wellness retreat to work on some personal issues.”

According to Page Six, while fans had a hard time coming to grips with the ending of the series, the ending of Game of Thrones was way harder on the actor.

An alleged friend of Kit told the publication that, “The end of GoT really hit Kit hard… he realised ‘this is it – this is the end,’ it was something they had all worked so hard on for so many years. He had a moment of, what next?”

The source noted that Kit is receiving tremendous support from his loved ones as he goes through these hard times.

“His wife, Rose, is being extremely supportive. Everyone close to him really wanted him to get some rest. Right now, he just needs peace and quiet,” the source said.

Page Six also reported that Kit is currently “undergoing psychological coaching, practicing mindful meditation and cognitive behavioral therapy to combat stress and deal with negative emotions,” at the retreat.

After 10 years and eight seasons as our beloved Jon Snow, we only hope for the best for Kit as he receives the treatment he needs.
