Just when you thought it couldn’t get worse, it did.

We just talked about how Ariana Grande had a hilarious tattoo fail and ended up getting a tattoo that meant “Japanese style barbecue grill” instead of “7 Rings.” And now, the singer’s attempt to fix the mistake has caused another fail.

Ariana tweeted about the first mistake saying, “Indeed, I left out 'つの指' which should have gone in between. It hurt like **** n still looks tight. I wouldn’t have lasted one more symbol. But this spot also peels a ton and won’t last so if I miss it enough I’ll suffer thru the whole thing next time."

She decided to fix the problem with the help of someone who actually knows Japanese, which caused another mistake. The two had a plan in place.

The singer then revealed the end product of the “fix” and captioned the Insta-story, “slightly better. Thanks to my tutor for helping me fix and to @kanenavasard for being a legend. And to my doctor for the lidocaine shots (no joke). rip tiny charcoal grill. Miss u man. I actually really liked u.”

However, a fan was quick to point out that the “fix” was wrong.

The tattoo now reads, “Japanese barbecue finger.”

Yup. You read that right.

We can’t help but to feel for Ari. All she wanted to do was commemorate her success with “7 Rings.”

However, we can’t stress this enough: check, double check and triple check everything you do (especially if it’s permanent.)
