Sometimes, we all need a break and it doesn’t matter even if you’re in one of the world’s favourite K-pop group.
According to a statement from Big Hit Entertainment, BTS is officially going on a break.

Deep breaths ARMY. Your favourite group is not gone forever.
According to the statement, this break is much needed by the seven members and provides a chance for RM, Jungkook, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin and V; to “rest and recharge.”
This is the first time that BTS will be taking time off since their debut in 2013.
The extended break will “be an opportunity for the members of BTS, who have relentless(ly) driven themselves towards their goal since their debut, to recharge and prepare to present themselves anew as musicians and creators,” the statement read.
The period of rest will “also provide them with a chance to enjoy the ordinary lives of young people in their 20s, albeit briefly,” the statement added.
No official word has been given as to how long the members of BTS will be on a break but their management company implores fans to respect the members’ privacy during this time.
“Should you have a chance encounter with a member of BTS while they are on vacation, we ask that you show consideration for their need to rest and enjoy their private time off,” the statement continues. “BTS will return refreshed and recharged to return all the love you have and continue to show them.”

Instead of being disappointed by their extended break, ARMYs all over the world are ecstatic for BTS to have opportunity to finally rest after all their accomplishments over the past few years.
