The trio dropped their politically charged single, "Big Love", that offers an uplifting message about the importance of love and hope, especially in times of uncertainty. The single echoes the sentiments reflected in "Where is the Love?"
Black Eyed Peas also announced their upcoming album, Masters of the Sun, that's set to be released on 12 October, nearly eight years after they dropped their last full-length project, The Beginning. However, Fergie will not be singing with them. will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo are going ahead without the duchess.

Although Fergie is missing, she expressed her support for the group and their new venture on Twitter, where she liked and retweeted a post from her former band mates. The duchess has maintained a solid friendship with the group, even when she moved into the music world on her own.

will.i.am confirmed to E! News in 2017 that Fergie would always be a member of the family, but for now, they are all simply "going to continue to do our thing."
