For some unclear reason, there's always been beef between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj. But things escalated during the New York Fashion Week when a fight broke out between the two during the Harper's Bazaar ICONS party.
Videos captured show the two rappers in a scuffle towards the end of the party. While details about the fight are unclear, it appears that Cardi threw a red high heel at Nicki. Reports also allege that "wigs were snatched, literally, and dresses were ripped," stated Cosmopolitan.

An insider told E! News that Nicki was "mingling with guests and keeping to herself when Cardi lunged at her and began shouting. Nicki then didn't move and continued on with her night."

After the fight, Cardi shared a lengthy note on Instagram which lays out some serious beef, and what appears to be her motivations in partaking in the altercation. In the note, Cardi alleges that an "unnamed rival" had engaged in all sorts of shady bad behaviour: lies, trash talking, food-shaming, and sabotage within the music industry. Cardi also wrote that the person in question made comments about her parenting skills.
While Cardi took to social media to share her side, Nicki has yet to comment publicly about the incident.
Let's hope things get settle between the two rappers before it gets any worse.
