Ed Sheeran is the epitome of a nice and decent guy. It seems as though he can do no wrong. He recently donated his signature guitar to Melody Driscoll, an 11-year-old terminally ill superfan.

Melody suffers from Rett syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects brain development, resulting in severe mental and physical disabilities.
The guitar – which Ed has signed “Play this guitar, lots of love, Ed” – will be put up for auction by Melody’s parents, Karina and Nigel Driscol. The Driscoll family is currently facing a £50,000 (RM268,848) legal fight over the care of Melody.

Ed first met Melody in November 2016, after Melody’s parents launched a campaign to persuade him to visit their brave daughter.
Ed gifted her a signed pink guitar before serenading her with his two hits, “Thinking Out Loud” and “Photograph”.

Later, the pair enjoyed a second meeting at a private show held in London’s O2 arena.
Ed hopes that the money from the sale of his guitar will help Melody get the pain medication she needs.
