The singer made an appearance on the series as a Lannister soldier on season seven where his character shared a scene with Arya Stark. Ed sang while sitting around with Maisie Williams’ character and other soldiers.

For those of you who haven’t watched the first episode of the final season yet, we advise you to look away now.

Fans who have watched the full first episode will know that Ed’s character was brought up and his fate was revealed.

We weren’t the only ones excited to know what happened to that soldier in the woods. Ed was as well!

The singer took to social media to share the fate of “Eddie” which was also mentioned in the episode.

He shared part of the episode’s dialogue on his Insta-Story:

“That boy Eddie. The ginger? That’s him. Came back with his face burned right off. He’s got no eyelids now. How do you sleep with no eyelids?”

To which he captioned, “Thanks @gameofthrones, I knew I was a survivor x.”

Knowing how Game of Thrones works, we’re lucky Eddie’s at least alive! Even with no eyelids…
