Could Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn be engaged? Her fans sure seem to think so!

The singer, famously known for incorporating her personal life into her songs, recently sparked engagement rumours when she previewed new lyrics in her Vogue cover story.
TayTay is set to drop her seventh album, Lover, in just a couple of weeks and was recently featured in Vogue’s September issue. In her cover story, writer Abby Aguirre describes the title track, “Lover” as a “romantic, haunting, waltzy, singer-songwritery nugget.”

In the track, Taylor sings the line, “My heart’s been borrowed and yours has been blue. All’s well that ends well to end up with you.”
Swifties all around the world put on their detective hats to investigate these lyrics further as the lyrics suspiciously sound like the classic wedding tradition of “Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.”

Eagle-eyed fans also spotted that Taylor’s official Tumblr appeared to have “liked” a post that references the wedding tradition.
Unfortunately for all Swifties who’ve been holding their breath, waiting for an engagement announcement; E! News has learnt that Taylor and Joe are not engaged (yet).
