We all know and love the "rivalry" between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. Both actors never miss an opportunity to roast each other on social media and it seems like they've got a new player on board!
Recently at Variety's "Actors on Actors" event, Emily Blunt and Hugh Jackman participated in an interview series. As is customary, the two posed for pictures at the event. Emily's husband and co-star, John Krasinski, saw this as an opportunity.
Hugh posted a picture of him and Emily, captioning it: "Had the pleasure of chatting with the amazing EMILY BLUNT today. @Variety #actorsonactors."
To this John replied saying, "Eeeeeeasy Hugh… not sure this is what @Variety meant with #ActorsonActors…. Don't make me think I can hurt you."
As if on cue, the Deadpool star swept in with his own message. Ryan replied the tweet saying, "This is a call to action. This man must be stopped."
Of course, all this was said in jest. Fans were loving the interactions between the actors:
But what did Hugh have to say over this sudden bromance between John and Ryan?
Speaking to Variety after the event he said, "You gotta stay on your toes, John. That's all I'm saying."
Hugh added, "I'm fine to fight John, but he arrived this morning at my front door with Ryan. I'm like, 'Come on, guys. One at a time. Not together."
