Things are definitely blooming in Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s lives in the best way!
Over a year ago, the couple announced that they had gotten engaged, and now, the singer and actor have revealed that their first baby together is officially on its way!
Katy just released a new video for her latest single, “Never Worn White” and in the video, the singer confirms what fans have been suspecting since a teaser for the music video was released the day before.
Before the video’s release, Katy took to Instagram Live to share the happy news with her fans and said that she and Orlando are “very excited” about the pregnancy.
“Let’s call it a reveal – there’s a lot that will be happening to me this summer. Not only will I be giving birth – literally......” Katy confirmed, adding that she’s also working on a highly anticipated upcoming album.
“So let’s call it a double whammy, a two fore,” she added. “I’m excited, we’re excited and we’re happy – and it’s probably the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep. I knew I would tell you in the best way, which is through a piece of music because that’s how I speak to you.”
Fans noted that the singer was absolutely glowing in her new music video and in the IG Live.
“I had to reveal it at some point,” Katy joked. “It was getting pretty obvious.”
