Kilafairy was shocked and overjoyed upon hearing the news that “Put The Word In”, her song collab with DJ Aku Ash and Sean Kingston, managed to top the iTunes charts in Papua New Guinea.
The Malaysian actor and singer said that she was shocked, adding that perhaps the melody of the song is compatible with the people of Papua New Guinea because coincidentally, the producer of the song Brian B hails from that country as well.
She continued to say that she is pleased that the song managed to fulfil the appetite of international listeners.
At the moment, “Put The Word In” has already garnered almost 900,000 views on YouTube, and is still working it on iTunes.
Kilafairy told Berita Harian that recording of “Put The Word In” took only three hours to record and 20 minutes to write.
