Congratulations to Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra! A source told People that the couple got engaged a week ago on Priyanka’s 36th birthday while the two of them were in London.
While the newly engaged couple have been together for only a short while, apparently Nick knew pretty much immediately that his lady was the one. This handsome Jonas brother closed down a Tiffany & Co store in New York City to check out diamond engagement rings for his future wife earlier this month!
Neither stars have released a statement. but a Jonas source tells People that the singer is “very, very happy”. “His friends and family have never seen him like this, and they’re all really excited for him. He’s definitely very serious about her,” the source said.
On Thursday night, Ali Abbas Zafar, Chopra’s director for the Indian film Bharat, announced that the actress was leaving his project in a cryptic tweet which contained a pun on her fiancé’s name. The tweet launched rumours among the Indian press that the two stars are engaged.
Nick and Priyanka first sparked rumours of a romance during the 2017 Met Gala, where they walked the red carpet together. But fans really started questioning their relationship status in May when the pair weas spotted spending a lot of quality time in Los Angeles. Since then, the lovebirds have been pretty much inseparable.
