It’s been over a week since the Jonas Brothers got back together and we can’t get enough of them!
This past week, the brothers joined James Corden for a special takeover week on The Late Late Show with James Corden. They also finally appeared together for a Carpool Karaoke session that took us back to 2013!

Nick, Joe, Kevin and James drove around while singing their old hits like “Burnin’ Up”, “When You Look Me in the Eyes”, and “Lovebug.” During this karaoke session, Nick divulged some information that we’ve been dying to know.
The cause of their break up six years ago.

While talking about their upcoming documentary and singing, it was revealed that Nick was actually the cause behind the Jonas Brothers break up!
James got the brothers to take a lie-detector test and when Nick was asked “Who caused the band to break up originally?” he answered with “I did,” and it was detected as a truth!
Before the test, James even jokingly said, “Everyone knows it was Nick,” to which Nick quickly replied, “I broke the band up, but I got them back together.”
“It’s true, it was a full redemptive story,” Kevin added.
And he did! When the brothers were asked what it took to come back together as a band, Nick revealed that it all thanks to their upcoming documentary.
“Basically, about a year ago we started talking about making a documentary together,” Nick said. “That was the start of it – just to tell our story, our childhood and into our career together. In that process we did some necessary healing because you know when things ended it wasn’t the best.”
During the filming, the band realized that “there was a magic when we were together that we would all like to feel again.”

But getting back together as a band was easier said than done. Nick, Joe and Kevin spent a year together in therapy to get back on the same page.
“We literally spent a year basically doing therapy, working thorugh some things, and figuring out what this chapter would look like,” Nick said. “We’ve had to be really open and honest. There are things in the past that bothered us from time to time, even in our performances that we would do.”

We’re glad the Jonas Brothers cleared the air and got back together! Thanks Nick!
