Barbies, if you haven’t heard already, Nicki Minaj has officially announced her retirement from the music scene.

The singer took to Twitter yesterday to reveal that she has chosen to retire to focus on having a family and living her life.

Nicki recently announced to her fans of her “Queen Radio” show that she and her boyfriend Kenneth Perry had applied for a marriage license and would tie the knot in “about 80 days”.

She took to twitter to make her retirement announcement by saying, “I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it till da death me. X in the box – cuz ain’t nobody checkin me. Love you for LIFE.”
