Selena Gomez’s Instagram Is Public Again After Being Temporarily Set To Private

Apparently, putting it on private was not done on purpose.

Late Monday night, fans noticed that Selena Gomez’s Instagram had been set to private. There were some speculations that the lockdown was caused by a recent profile done about her in BillBoard.

However, a source close to Gomez revealed that the whole thing was an accident, and when the singer realised what she had done late last night, she immediately switches her profile back to public.

Of course, we won't know for sure what the reason is until Gomez makes an official statement.

The reason for the previously mentioned speculation was a screenshot posted by Gomez on her Insta Stories hours before her account was set to private. The post is no longer available on her account, but fans on Twitter and Instagram have been reposting it.

The popstar’s caption read: “Never will I let another human guess my words ever again. Or invite them in my home. That is so hurtful. The most 'ridiculous' part of that is no one knowing my heart when I say things."

The Insta Story is referring to a passage in the story of her recent profile in Billboard. The passage read:

“There’s a five-foot teddy bear sprawled across the kitchen floor in Selena Gomez’s North Hollywood home. 'I know, I know,' says Gomez, rolling her eyes, acknowledging that the stuffed animal doesn't quite blend with the trio of armchairs nestled in the inviting, marble-accented nook. 'It was a gift, and at first I thought, ‘This is so ridiculous, I can’t wait until I give it away to another person.’ But Gomez, 25, hasn't let go of it – yet.”
