Taylor Swift has just added a new success to her reputation and award collection!
At the recently 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards, the singer received one of the highest honours of the night – the Tour of the Year award.
While accepting the coveted award, Taylor gave an emotional and empowering acceptance speech that shut down all the hate she’s been getting.
“One of the most wonderful things about the way that this whole tour turned out is that, for, like, the entire six months leading up to the first show if this tour, every headline that I read was, this is going to be a massive failure,” she said.

“And it really did wonders for my self-esteem,” she continued while holding her award. “It was really great to hear people saying that I was going to be playing nearly empty stadiums.”
“I’ve learned a lot,” she said. “One of the things I’ve learned is that life is really unpredictable and people can make forecasts and they can make predictions, but those predictions and forecasts may not come true if there is an unforeseeable factor involved, and that unforeseeable factor in this case was my fans.”
She added, “I honestly owe everything, everything in my life to you.”

And what about new music or a new album from Taylor?
She closed off her acceptance speech by letting her fans know that “when there is new music, you will be the first to know.”
Haters gonna hate.
We can’t wait for new music from Taylor! What about you?
