Swifties, we only have one thing to say. The queen is here to stay!
From the moment Taylor Swift stepped on the 2018 American Music Awards' red carpet, to her fiery opening performance of "I Did Something Bad", to the history-making awards she picked up throughout the night; there's one thing that's clear—it's Taylor's year.

Taylor dominated the AMAs stage as she gave an electrifying performance—her first at the AMAs since 2014—alongside her dancers. At the end of the performance, a giant snake appeared as TayTay sang, "They say I did something bad, then why's it feel so good?"

Not only did Taylor drive social media crazy with her "I Did Something Bad" performance, she ended the night reaching another milestone in her career—most AMAs won by a female artist.

The previous record was held by Whitney Houston, who had 21 wins, and Taylor, who before the award show had 19 under her belt, needed to win at least three out of the four nominations to create history. And win, she did.
Starting off by winning the award for Tour of the Year, Taylor thanked her tour mates and all those involved, especially the fans.
"I want to thank my tour mates, Charli XCX and Camila Cabello... I want to thank my dancer, backup singers, the band. Most of all, though, to the fans. If you didn't want to hang out with us, we wouldn't have been on an amazingly fun stadium tour. Thank you for everything. I love you guys."

That was one award. Next, her winning streak continued when she won the award for Favourite Pop/Rock Album for Reputation.
"Guys, I always look at albums as chapters in my life. And I'm so… to the fans, I'm so happy that you like this one. I'm so happy that this means that you like this one. But I have to be really honest with you about something, I'm even more excited about the next chapter."
The next chapter?! YAAASSSS!

Her streak continued when Lenny Kravitz presented Taylor with her final award of the night, the most coveted Artist of The Year!
"I understand how lucky I am to have anyone that cares about me or my music. Every time that you have made me lucky enough to ever get to stand on a stage and have something really sparkly in my hands and say thank you, every single time this happens, it means something differently to me. This time, it represents encouragement and motivation for me to be better, work harder and make you guys proud as much as I possibly can."
And with that, Taylor crossed another milestone off her list.
