2019 is definitely the year of The Rock!
Last weekend, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and long-time girlfriend, Lauren Hashian got married in a secret Hawaiian wedding, and this week, The Rock is officially the highest-paid actor of 2019!

Known as one of the most hardworking actors and producers in Hollywood, Dwayne is definitely reaping the benefits of all his hard work.
Forbes has just released its list of highest-paid actors of 2019 and The Rock sits comfortable at number one with a total of $89.4 million (RM373.7 million) made between 1st June 2018 and 1st June 2019.

The Rock was even able to beat out all the actors from Avengers: Endgame – the biggest movie of all time; to sit comfortably at the top spot.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Chris Hemsworth, comes in at number two with a total of $76.4 million (RM319.4 million) over the same period of time.
Iron Man’s sacrifice in Endgame made Robert Downey Jr. come in third on the list with a total of $66 million (RM275.9 million).

Rounding out the top 10 highest paid actors list is Akshay Kumar at number four with $65 million (RM271.8 million) and Jackie Chan at number five with $58 million (RM242.5 million). Bradley Cooper and Adam Sandler both tie in at number six with a total of $57 million (RM238.3 million) each.
Finally, Chris Evans comes in at number eight with $43.5 million (RM181.9 million), Paul Rudd at number nine with $41 million (RM171.4 million) and Will Smith at number 10 with $35 million (RM146.3 million).
