Ariana Grande recently posted a photo of her that was taken by a paparazzi on her Instagram account and allegedly got sued by the photographer who took the photo.
The reporter named Robert Barbera said that Ariana Grande never asked for permission or paid any money for the rights to post the photos, which got up to 3,392,035 likes.

The photographer is now suing Ariana for either the profits she earned from the photos or RM104,400 ($25,000) for each photo.
"[Grande] infringed [Barbera's] copyright in the Photographs by reproducing and publicly displaying the Photographs on the Instagram Page," he wrote in his lawsuit. "[Grande] is not, and has never been, licensed or otherwise authorized to reproduce, publically display, distribute and/or use the Photographs."

This however, is not the first time celebrities got sued for posting photos from photo agencies that are targeting star posting without credit, with the most recent incident with Gigi Hadid getting sued by a photo agency back in January.
