It’s time for Camila Cabello to meet her fairy godmother and slip on her glass slippers for her acting debut!
Things will never be the same for the singer as she steps into her first acting role in an upcoming re-imagined tale of Cinderella.

E! News confirmed that Camila will take on the role as the iconic princess in the re-telling of the classic fairytale. Not only will the singer take on the role as Cinderella, she will also be involved with the music for the film as well! We can already feel the Camila vibes!

The classic fairytale’s new music-oriented direction grew out of an original idea from James Corden. E! also confirmed that James and his Fulwell73 partner, Leo Pearlman, will be producing the upcoming movie.
Currently, Sony Pictures are putting this new Cinderella project on the fast track for production. Kay Cannon - the mastermind behind Pitch Perfect 3, has been slated to write and direct.
While fans are celebrating their wish come true with #CamilaIsTheNewCinderella, others aren’t as excited about the casting.
