Over the years, we’ve seen some of our favourite actors, actress, musicians and more, receiving their highly acclaimed star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Now, more of our favourites are receiving their stars and they include Carrie Fisher, Jason Momoa, and Tessa Thompson!
The Walk of Fame Selection Panel of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce recently released their list of honourees who would be given their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2022.
In a statement, the panel shared that the inductees were chosen from a crop of “hundreds of nominations to the committee”.
“The Walk of Fame Selection Panel is pleased to announce 38 new honourees to the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” Ellen K, Chair of the Walk of Fame Selection Panel said.
“The Selection Panel, made up of fellow Walkf of Famers, hand-picks a group of honourees each year that represent various genres of the entertainment world,” she continued. “The Panel did an amazing job choosing these very talented people.”
“We can’t wait to see each honourees’ reaction as they realise that they are becoming a part of Hollywood’s history with the unveiling of their star on the world’s most famous walkway!”

Dates of the induction ceremonies for this list of impressive honourees, has yet to be scheduled but according to The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, “Recipients have two years to schedule star ceremonies from the date of selection before they expire.”
