Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart were spotted at the Vancouver airport on Monday, doing the ultimate couple thing to do—wearing matching outfits. They had reportedly spent the weekend together in San Francisco.
The Riverdale co-stars coordinated their look by wearing matching black leather jackets and striped shirts. Both even added a pop of colour to their otherwise monochrome outfits with Lili donning a pale pink baseball cap, and Cole rocking a burgundy flared pants.
On another note, Lili had recently lashed out at speculators, saying that it’s “horrifying how invested some people are in my love life”.
She insisted there was a difference between shipping Betty (her character in the TV series) and other characters, and shipping me “with literally everyone I make eye contact with”.
Cole didn’t seem to have any trouble with the dating rumours though. He told Entertainment Weekly, “I think that kind of discussion, especially because it’s based on so much on rumour and hearsay, needs to be taken with a grain of salt. We’re all still human lives that are interacting with the source material.”
However, he added, “But, truthfully, it’s very pleasing that people talk about Lili and I in that way because it means that we’re resonating so strongly from our character perspective that people really want that to be true.”
