Being on the Internet, we’ve seen our fair share of #tattoofails. Admittedly, we’ve laughed at these hilarious fails and wondered how could that have happened? Did no one check? Did no one realise that there was a mistake?
We had all those questions for Ariana Grande.

Recently, the singer posted a picture of new tattoo meant to commemorate her “7 Rings” music video. The tattoo was meant to say “7 Rings” in Japanese. But things didn’t really go as planned…

Instead of saying “7 Rings” the tattoo ended up reading, “SHICHIRIN” which translates into a small Japanese style barbecue grill.

Fans were quick to come to Ariana’s aid and pointed out what the tattoo actually meant.
The post has since been deleted and Ariana has cleared the air about the tattoo.
She tweeted, “indeed, i left out "つの指” which should have gone in between.”
She went on to say, “it hurt like **** n still looks tight. i wouldn’t have lasted one more symbol. but this spot also peels a ton and won’t last so if i miss it enough, i’ll suffer thru the whole thing next time.”

Well, there’s a lesson to be learned here. Check everything you do, twice. Or three times.
