jake gyllenhaal expertly dodges a question about his ex, taylor swift

Jake Gyllenhaal sat down for an interview with Boston Marathon bombing survivor Jeff Bauman, whom he portrays in the upcoming biographical movie, Stronger.

Gyllenhaal praised Bauman’s sense of humour, which was evident in the Facebook Live interview session, as Bauman managed to get a few digs in at the actor’s expense, casting him as an out-of-touch celeb and mocking his one-time relationship with Taylor Swift with the question:

“If you lost your legs in real life, do you think Taylor Swift would write a song about it?”

Gyllenhaal didn’t keep up very well with Jeff Bauman’s hilarious rapid fire questions on most topics, but surprisingly managed to ace the one about Taylor.

First, Gyllenhaal responded with a question of his own for further clarification: “For me, or about it?” “For you. Like a country song,” Bauman said, to which the actor expertly replied, “She sort of moved more into pop now.”

Nice save, Gyllenhaal!
