Jennifer Lawrence and director Darren Aronofsky called it quits after dating for over a year. Some sources say that the breakup happened a month ago, and that things ended amicably.
The two was first spotted enjoying lunch in August 2016 at a café, and began seeing each other in September after wrapping up the movie Mother!.
They were spotted once again in October when they attended a dinner with her close friend in LA, and a source revealed that they have “been hanging out and are casually dating”.
In November last year, Aronofsky was spotted in North Carolina at Duke University, and some students got the chance to FaceTime with Lawrence.
The couple were also spotted during a romantic night out in New York City locking lips and holding hands.
They only stepped out publicly together at the New York premiere of Mother!, where they posed for the camera.
Apparently, the couple had already broken up when they both attended the recent Governors Awards, though they sat together at the same table.
Lawrence was photographed walking her dog after the news of their split came out, wearing a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses.
