If you thought that Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner were following Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s wedding footsteps, well you’re as much of a sucker as we are!
Instead of a traditional wedding ceremony, Joe and Sophie casually headed to Vegas to get married in a surprise and impromptu wedding!

Less than two hours after the Jonas Brothers performed “Sucker” at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, the couple kept the celebrations going by inviting close family and friends to a Las Vegas wedding chapel where they officially tied the knot.
In classic Vegas style, Joe and Sophie’s surprise wedding was officiated by an Elvis impersonator (because why not?) while the couple exchanged ring pops as wedding bands.
News of the impromptu wedding first broke when Diplo documented the whole ceremony on an Instagram Live.
Sophie walked down the aisle wearing a white gown and veil while Dan + Shay performed, “Speechless” acoustically. Nick and Kevin Jonas stood by their brother’s side as groomsmen in matching gray suits.
And in case you were wondering, no, it’s not a joke.
A source spoke to People and confirmed that the wedding was indeed “legitimate and not a prank.” E! News confirmed that the newlyweds had obtained a marriage license on 1st May, just before officially tying the knot.
Fans are ecstatic that their favourite IRL couple went against the norm with their surprise wedding.
