The actor and his wife, Rose Leslie have officially welcomed their first child together!

The
Game of Thrones actors confirmed the happy news when they stepped out with their newborn in London recently.
Kit’s rep also confirmed the news to
E! News, sharing that the couple had welcomed a baby boy and are “very very happy!”

Rose’s baby bump first made headlines in September 2020 when she debuted her growing baby in a photo shoot for
MAKE magazine.
A month later, the actress shared more about the private couple’s baby with
The New York Post saying: “I’m thrilled to be expecting and I can’t wait to meet the new member of our family!”

The
Game of Thrones actors first met on set in 2012 where they transitioned from on-screen lovers – Jon Snow and Ygritte, to real-life lovers.
In a 2016 interview with
Vogue Italia, Kit talked about falling in love with Rose as they were both shooting the second season in Iceland.
“Because the country is beautiful, because the Nothern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love,” he reminisced. “If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love…”

The couple got engaged in 2017, and a year later, they
tied the knot in Scotland.
“The wedding was perfect,” a source told
E! News. “Family and friends were elated for Rose and Kit. It was a day of love and celebration and you could see it on everyone’s faces.”
