Directioners, are you ready for one of the best days ever?
According to recent reports, and from Liam Payne himself… A One Direction reunion is on its way!

As we’ve all been staying home to help curb the spread of COVID-19, some of our favourite artists have been spending their days on Instagram Live.
Liam Payne is no different.
Recently the One Direction member took to Instagram Live with Swedish DJ Alesso to talk about their new single, “Midnight”.
During this session, fans could not help but to flood the comments section with questions about a possible One Direction reunion.
If you didn’t know, the band’s 10th anniversary is coming up on 23rd July and many directioners have been speculating that the foursome of Liam, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan have something special planned.

“Oh my god dude… there’s so many One Direction questions,” Alesso said to Liam during the Instagram Live. “But I feel like I don’t want to put you on the spot because you can’t say too much.”
Then, Liam shared some news that drove fans crazy as it seemed like he basically confirmed the highly anticipated reunion.
According to the singer, he has been speaking to Niall recently on FaceTime and since “most of us are in London, we’ve been trying to arrange the first group FaceTime with the boys at the moment.”
“I can’t say too much,” Liam added. “Louis told me off for revealing a bit of our plans the other day, so you’re going to have the group chat telling me off.”
“Oooh, wow, the whole world is about to explode,” Alesso noted.
“You can come in and fill in for Zayn and join the band,” Liam joked.

The theory that a full reunion could be making its way to us first started about a week ago when Directioners noticed that the Liam, Harry, Louis, Niall and the official One Direction Twitter accounts began following Zayn again after he exited the band in 2015.
Fans also noticed that Google no longer listed Zayn as an “ex-member” but has reinstated him as “vocals”.
On top of that, all five of the band’s album are now available on Apple Music AND the official One Direction website has been reactivated for the first time since the band announced its hiatus in 2016.
But is Zayn actually going to be involved in this reunion? This has yet to be confirmed, but we sure hope it’s true!

Rumours of a 1D reunion first made its way around when Liam told The Sun that he and his former bandmates had been discussing the band’s milestone anniversary.
“We’ve got a 10-year anniversary coming up so we’ve all been speaking together a lot over the last few weeks which has been really nice,” he said. “You hear a lot of people’s voices and seeing old content and different things that we haven’t seen for a long time or never seen before, it’s very interesting.”
“There’s a number of different things that we are all working on to try and make happen and people are forwarding emails around,” he added.
Even Harry has made some comments about the reunion on a recent interview with SiriusXM when he was asked if he’d be open to reuniting with his former bandmates over a Zoom call for a social-distancing inspired performance.
“I don’t know if that’s the reunion we had in mind. I don’t know if that would be the way to do it. I’ll have a quick whip-round,” he said.

Whatever form of reunion that happens, we’ll gladly take it!
