It's no secret that Katy Perry and Taylor Swift are not  BBFs. Although the two musicians seem to have "kissed and made up", Katy's new achievement may rile up their fans.

Forbes recently released their 2018 list of the highest-paid women in music. Katy took the top spot, beating Taylor - who came in number two and Beyonce - who came in number three.

According to the publication, Katy earned about $3 million (RM12.6 million) more that Taylor and $20 million (RM84 million) more than Queen Bey in 2018.

Katy was able to accomplish this major feat thanks to her Witness: The Tour that raked in nearly $1 million (RM4.2 million) for every performance for 80 shows! On top of earning $80 million (RM 336 million) just for her tour, Katy's recent role as a judge on American Idol and more helped to elevate her chances of claiming the top spot.

For those of you wondering how Taylor only came in second despite her successful tour, here's why.

Forbes reported, "The only reason she didn't claim the top spot on this list? Most of her Reputation Stadium Tour dates fell just outside this year's scoring period."

Don't worry Swifties, all Taylor's earnings this year will go towards next year's list! Hopefully she'll take back her 2016 crown as highest-paid woman in music.

Here's the full 2018 list of Forbes' highest-paid women in music:

1. Katy Perry - $83 million (RM348.4 million)

2. Taylor Swift - $80 million (RM336 million)

3. Beyoncé - $60 million (RM251.9 million)

4. Pink - $52 million (RM218.3 million)

5. Lady Gaga - $50 million (RM210 million)

6. Jennifer Lopez - $47 million (RM197.3 million)

8. Helene Fischer - $32 million (RM134.3 million)
