Zayn Malik has no love lost for One Direction.
In the upcoming December issue of British Vogue, the singer admits that he did not make a single friend before leaving One Direction. Zayn left the group back in March 2015 and has not looked back since.
He said, "I have always been a bit like that, though - always a bit of an island. I don't like to confer with too many people."

The singer admitted that the exhausting schedule during his time in the boy band took a toll on his mental health. This toll affected his relationships with Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Harry Styles.
"We went from theatres, to arenas, to stadiums. There was never any sort of bridge between. Just boom, boom, boom. I guess that kind of progression to any mind - but especially when you're 17, 18 - it kind of affects you a little bit. People take it different ways - especially when there are five different personalities. The relationships had broken apart," Zayn said.

Although Niall, Louis, Liam and Harry have remained close over the years, Zayn admits, "I ain't spoke to any of them for a long time, to be honest with you. That's just the way it is. There's things that happen and things that were said after I left…"
"Snide things," he adds. "Small things that I would never have expected."

While his relationship with his former One Direction members is nearly non-existent, his relationship with Gigi Hadid is better than ever.
"Everything is great. She's super-organised and I'm really not. It helps that she can get things together for me a little bit. I lean on her a lot," he said.
Wow. So unfortunately Directioners, it looks like a full reunion may never happen.
