The weather has been super hot lately, but constantly having the air conditioner turned on can put a huge load on our electricity bill. However, a Malaysian woman discovered a trick that can help save up to 80% of the bill!

So, what’s the secret? Unplug everything from the power cords! Of course, you’ll need to keep your electrical items plugged in when you’re using it, but simply remove it from the power cord when you’re not using it. Her Facebook post revealed that just by doing so, her bill went from RM205 to RM39.89!

She revealed that it’ll take a while to get used to the habit of unplugging the cords, but once you get the hang of it, it’ll make a huge difference in your electricity bill.
