Imagine going to the cinema with hopes of seeing an adorable fighting Pikachu… only to witness a horror movie instead!
That's what happened in a theatre in Montreal, Canada where they played the horror movie, The Curse of La Llorona instead of Detective Pikachu by mistake for both the parents and their kids!
Someone posted a thread of what happened in the theatre and the Internet found it hilarious!
They were eventually moved to another hall but we’re sure the kids there would have been pretty traumatized.
But mistakes happen, and we don’t think anybody would have done this on purpose. We’re just glad everyone took it well!
We wouldn've beeen terrified and found it funny at the same time to be honest...
