We love our boba tea as much as the next person but it seems like humans aren’t the only ones to love the magical and yummy pearls!
Recently in Singapore, a monkey was caught stealing a woman’s boba tea and enjoying it for itself.

The long-tailed macaques have been making their appearance at several locations in Singapore’s urban areas.
A prominent species of Singapore’s native biodiversity, the monkeys were recently spotted at a bus stop near MacRitchie Reservoir.
One of the monkeys was seen casually enjoying some pearls from a boba tea that it stole.

In a video uploaded by Stomp, the macaque is seen sitting on a railing while fishing out pearls from the bottom of a boba cup and devouring them.
According to Stomp, the monkey had stolen the bubble tea from a woman at the bus stop and ran off with it.
Even when another macaque jumps onto the railing, hoping to get in on the boba action, the monkey holding the bubble tea turns away quickly, refusing to share.
Well, we’ve definitely seen our share of monkey business too, especially recently when a monkey stole a Malaysian man’s phone and took selfies with it!
It’s nice to know that monkeys love boba too!
