Sometimes we tend to post things on social media before thinking about who is actually viewing them as these two Malaysian students found out the hard way!
A Malaysian lecturer recently went viral after posting savage comments on his students’ tweets.
One of his students tweeted a photo saying, “sometimes I wonder, why was I born handsome” and the lecturer replied saying, “no use being handsome if you come to my class late every week!”
Savage.
Another student also got roasted after she posted a video of her pretending to be an anchor woman and he replied, “no wonder you hand in your assignment late, looks like it’s because you were recording on twitter.”
Now you might think, “ooo, they’re in deep trouble now”. Well the lecturer was just messing around! He responded saying that he didn’t expect the tweet to blow up and that “even though the boy was consistently late he is a good student and did all his assignments.”
And he also praised the other student saying she’s a good student, sends in her assignments, goes to classes and is well-behaved.
He noted that he was just joking in his tweets and did not wish to send any hate to his students. What a sporting lecturer!
So the next time you want to tweet or post anything on social media, make sure your lecturer is not following you!
