If you've got some change to spare, there's a website that would be perfect for it!

Who Paid 99 Cents? is a website that charges visitors a standard fee of 99 cents for a chance to see a list of people who had previously paid 99 cents to see who else was crazy enough to do the same!

If you're willing to pay 99 cents to a mysterious website, know that you're not the only one! Dozens of people have done the just that to have a look at the list of people who did the same thing they have. Interestingly enough, if you want to refresh the page to see if any new names showed up, you would have to pay 99 cents again! It's actually quite a brilliant way to make money.

If you'd like to check it out, the website itself is pretty simple and doesn't reveal much. All you see is some fields for your name, email address and credit card number as well as a See Who Paid 99 Cents button!

The fine print at the bottom of the page reads: "Your name will be public. Obviously. That's the point. Just use a fake one if you want. Your receipt will be emailed to you." The creators left a disclaimer as well reading, "All sales are final. Please don't sue us."

The Who Paid 99 Cents website is apparently the brainchild of a computer entertainment studio called Thinko that's based in Brooklyn, New York. Speaking to Business Insider, Thinko's Pasquale D'Silva said that they liked to build funny things and basically created the website to make people laugh.

He said, "People are paying because it gives them something funny they can talk about. I think people like the feeling of making other people laugh too. It's just good energy. Especially given that it's at their expense."

And what about the money that goes in to the website? Pasquale says that the company will use the money to build even more wacky stuff to bring smiles to everyone.

"We have an endless queue of things. Ideally we fill the internet up with them, and everyone can laugh a little more," he added.

If you're looking for a laugh and have some change to spare, would you pay 99 cents?
