Many countries around the world have made wearing face mask mandatory in public but one man forgot his and came out with a sole idea.
A video recently went viral showing a Taiwanese man waiting in line at a supermarket and instead of wearing a face mask, he’s wearing a shoe on his face.
The 20-year-old man from Taiwan had reportedly forgotten to put on his face mask and decided to use his shoe as a substitute instead.
Doesn’t smell like a good idea.
The caption of the video wrote, You can't enter the supermarket without a mask, so [this guy] use men's shoes instead of a mask.”
The guy was seen wearing slippers in the video, making people wonder if he had bought the shoe from the store or if it was just a joke.
The woman in front of him can be spotted turning around and looks like her “sole” left her body after seeing the man with his “shoe mask”.
Many Twitter users found the video hilarious and said that they would never do it because of the smell from the shoe.
Others pointed out that the shoe’s condition looks like it’s frequently worn and wondered if the bacteria from the shoe is worse instead.
Some users also said that the man seems very calm and it might be due to him not being able to see his surroundings with a shoe in his face.
Perhaps he really needed to buy something his mother asked him to and didn’t want to risk getting a scolding. The possibilities are endless.
Taiwan recently went into a state of “self-lockdown” after the warning level in the country went up due to the increase in local transmitted COVID-19 cases.
Customers not wearing masks are not allowed to enter supermarkets and other locations and it might be the reason why the man decided to use his shoe as substitute for his face mask.
