Nation badminton player Lee Zii Jia has already made Malaysia proud with his All England win, and now, the athlete has more reason to celebrate!
According to the Badminton World Federation (BWF), Zii Jia has moved up two places in its latest world rankings and he now places eight in the world!

At the recent All England Badminton Championship, Zii Jia defeated defending champion Viktor Axelsen to become the men’s single champion.
With his win, the 22-year-old not only ended Malaysia’s four-year title drought, he also amassed 12,000 points as the champion.
According to BWF’s website, he entered the top 10 in March last year and has now accumulated a total of 69,389 points from the 25 tournaments played, placing him as eight in the world - his career’s best ranking.
Zii Jia’s win at the All-England championship pushed him further up the list, past Hong Kong’s Angus Ng Ka Long (69,270 points) and Taiwan’s Wang Tzu-wei (63,393).
